CONTACT LENS EXAM & FITTING:

At Sedona Eye Care, we are committed not only to providing our patients with the best possible visual acuity but to ensuring you are wearing your contact lenses in the safest manner. We want you to be happy and healthy in your contact lenses.

A contact lens exam in NOT considered part of a routine vision examination. During a contact lens fitting, the doctor uses different instruments to evaluate your corneal health and measure the size and shapy of your cornea before recommending a type or contact lens.

A free pair of trial lenses will be given to you at the time of your fitting and the doctor will determine the trial period for testing out these lenses usually 1-2 weeks.

After the trial period, you will return to the office wearing the lenses (a minimum of 4 hours is ideal) and the doctor will do a follow up evaluation to make sure all is well. At that time, a prescription will be given to you. Of course, if you experience any problems with the lenses during the trial period, call the office immediately.

Your satisfaction is our goal and we will continue to work with you until we find the right contacts for you. Follow-up visits for contact lens fittings are considered part of the contact lens fitting fee and are done at no charge. *see policy & restrictions

Follow-up visits are required to ensure the proper fit, comfort, vision and corneal health of your eyes before a final prescription for contact lenses will be written by the doctor.
